A taste of some of the obstacles you may see on a BoldrDash Course
BoldrDash is famous for it’s multilevel obstacle design. With 20-30+ obstacles at each event location from elite to beginner there is something for everyone on the course.
Find your Bold – your way!
Weaver – Over/Under and away you go. Weave through this military style obstacle without touching the ground – a definite upper body push!
Over/Under/Through Walls – The seemlessly never ending wall of walls – Just when you think you’ve reached the final wall you realize it is not over yet.
Tire Hurdles – These hurdles are not as easy as they seem – the tires swing and move as you go over offering an extra fun challenge.
Cargo Tube Crawl – Climb a ten foot wall and enter the tube-shaped cargo net – after crawling through the net to the other side slide down the fireman’s pole like the hero you are!
Monkey Bars – In addition to two regular grip rows, we’ve added a fat grip and an angled section to this 16 foot long challenge.
Cargo Climb – This 40 foot net is a blast to conquer for all abilities.
Horizontal Peg Board – A new obstacle brought to you at Rocky Point BRD 2016 and sure to stick around – You’re going to need to practice this one!
Tarzan Tire Swing – Deceptively difficult – the tire swing will challenge even the most elite athlete as they attempt to get to the other side all while tapping into your inner child. Swing like Tarzan from tire to tire.
8-10 Foot Walls – As seen here our 8 and 10 foot walls offer multiple ability levels. Grab a friend and help them along or choose your own way over the wall.
Shimmy and Slide – What goes up, must come down and this case IT’S YOU! This obstacle’s difficulty level may be deceiving, but it’s fun factor certainly is not!
Wobble Board – Adding difficulty and fun to a basic balance obstacle is one of the ways we change up the ordinary.
BoldrDash Spider Walls – Introduced in 2014 and since then have become a staple at most event venues. Hands here – Feet there and shimmy! Different lengths available up to 24 feet.
A-Frame Wall – Even with ropes and multiple ability levels this wall offers quite a challenge.
Slip and Slide – 120-240 f00t slip and slide (depending upon location) – No more needs to be said!
What’s and OCR without a Cargo Net?
Boldr Carry with Chain – Looking Bad… is easy at this Boldr themed obstacle. Dragging a 30-40 foot chain along with you just adds to the fun.
Hand Traverse – Channel your inner Ninja and get that grip strength ready – Now let’s see if you can cross this horizontal traverse without touching down!
Parallel Bars – different strokes for different folks. We’ve seen some really interesting techniques from our runners as they attempt to cross this great multi-lengthed obstacle
Rope Climb – “I get high with a little help from my friends” has a whole new meaning at the BoldrDash rope climb. Make your way up the rope with and without knotted sections (and with or without friends)
Slatted A-Frame Wall – 12 feet tall each slat is spaced just far enough apart to add to the challenge of the climb.
Suspended Tube Crawl – Another innovative twist on a staple OCR obstacle. Introduced in 2015 with rave reviews.
Tire Wall – An awesome twist on an average climbing wall 12 Feet of Fun! – a favorite at every appearance.
Beach Crawl/Buckets – Crawling under multiple 8 foot long bridges is challenging to start, now add runners climbing above you with buckets filled with water (and the occasional ‘oops’ by your running pals) to make this crawling obstacle that much more fun.
