“I tell anyone who will listen as often as I can, ‘if you like OCRs you will love BoldrDash.’ It’s not just another OCR thrown together to make money and be like all the other guys. It is unique, challenging, well-planned, and well-run, and it’s a New England exclusive OCR to someone who has been involved for years, like me, and everyone in between.”

Past Events

BoldrDash Events come in all different shapes, sizes, and locations. Although we might not have immediate plans to host one of these events, you never know when we might bring one back! Learn more about some of our classics.

WinterDash

BoldrDash’s WinterDash Event is an OCR World Championships event, but also offers waves for everyone! With 20 of the famous obstacles, you can either walk, run, or jog to the finish line. Mix it up, but must importantly, enjoy yourself!

DoggieDash

DoggieDash is not only an incredibly fun event for you and your pet, it is also an opportunity to make a difference in a homeless dog’s life. We work with various local shelters and fosters to pair volunteers with pups in need of a Doggie Day Out.

Rocky Point

BoldrDash brought the obstacles and the fun to Rocky Point in Warwick. This event includes an adult 5k, as well as kids and family waves held on portions of the 5k course. This event has something for everyone, with appropriate obstacle course options for younger runners.

Beach

Sand, trails, open fields and the rocky shoreline. Rhode Island is famous for its beautiful shoreline and beaches. BoldrDash is famous for its great obstacles and family events. Put these two together and it’s an event you don’t want to miss!

Family & Kid

BoldrDash has become a staple for Family and Kid Races in Rhode Island. Family and Kid events are open to anyone age three or older, and scaled obstacles are available where appropriate. All children must be accompanied by an adult on the course for safety.

Color

This is more than just a Color Run, this event takes trail running for a colorful turn through the wooded trails of Canonicus Camp and Conference Center. Multiple color stations and fun, and family-friendly BoldrDash obstacles throughout.

Mud

Retired in 2015 and then brought back by popular demand, BoldrDash brings you the coolest and muddiest Family Event around! The course is approximately 1 mile of obstacle adventure and a muddy good time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What time do I need to arrive for my wave?
Arrive at the parking area at least 1 1/2 hours before your wave starts. Some of our events use busing to get you to the event. If busing is provided, it will be announced.
What should I bring to BoldrDash on event day?

– Photo ID
– Cash
– A change of clothes and a towel
– Bug spray
– Sunscreen
– Any ointments you choose for natural plants (i.e., poison ivy, poison oak – although we try to clear areas we are using for the course, we do try to respect the land and mother nature; it will not be totally clear of natural greenery)
– A good attitude

*Note: The type of footwear you choose for the most part is up to you; however, there are NO CLEATS allowed on the course.

What sets BoldrDash apart from other obstacle course or mud races?

At BoldrDash we strive to be fun and accessible for everyone. This means we use scalable levels, so they are challenging yet achievable for everyone. We also do not use “Fear Factor” obstacles such as fire, barbed wire, or electrodes.

We believe if you leave the course feeling accomplished and proud of yourself, you are a “winner”. Because of this, we do not offer podium spots or prizes for fastest times.

How can I contact you if I have more questions or concerns either before or on event day?

If it is before event day then please email us at info@boldrdashrace.com, but please know this email may not be monitored on the event day. Please use the contact information in your confirmation email to get in touch with us on the day of the event.
