on the Beach is BACK! This year we even added a kids event. The 2014 beach event will be held at Scarborough State Beach in Narragansett, RI. BoldrDash is famous for it’s unique scalable obstacles. From elite to beginner this is the race for everyone, challenge yourself at your level of fitness. A great time for all and a great challenge for any athlete. Come and partake in this incredible experience. With over 20 obstacles on and off the beach, you’ll be smiling so much they’ll have to scrape the sand from your teeth!
What will the course be like? Well, it’s a beach – what do you think we’ll be doing? There will be lots of running in the sand and some running on Black Point trail, and possibly even scaling the rocks along the shore. With this kind of terrain, anything can happen! As always we strive to build as many obstacles as we can fit. The goal is 28! AND PARKING IS FREE!

The countdown has begun! We’re less than a month away from our Beach Event! If you haven’t registered yet, now is the time. If you have registered, there’s still time to get your friends, family, co-workers, roommates, aunts, uncles, distant cousins, ANYONE involved! Spread the word of BoldrDash loud and proud. All wave times are limited to 100 runners for safety, to avoid back ups at obstacles and to preserve/protect the beach. Monitors will be at start line to ensure runners are in the appropriate wave time.

BoldrDash Kids has been developed for kids ages 4-12. Our very first BoldrDash Kids was AWESOME! We have scoped out Scarborough and are hoping to get a bit more milage for the kids on the beach run. The specific course will be determined once Winter leaves us and we get a look at the shoreline.
Kids 4-8 will run a minimum of a .25 mile – .50 mile course on and off the sand and encounter approximately 6 age appropriate obstacles.
Kids 9-12 will run a minimum of a .50 – 1 mile course to start. They will encounter approximately 10-12 additional age-appropriate obstacles for 9 to 12 year olds.
Safety for all children is our priority. For this reason no more than 20 kids will be allowed in each wave. Additionally, all 4-8 year-olds must run the course with an adult.
Children’s Race is NOT an officially timed event. Kids are encouraged to get out on the course and enjoy the event and work as a team to help each other through the more challenging obstacles.

All wave times are limited to 100 runners for safety, and to avoid back ups at obstacles and impact on the environment. Monitors will be at start line to ensure runners are in the appropriate wave time. Offsite Parking is at Carousel Industries on 659 South County Road in Exeter RI. Only a short 3 minute ride from the venue. Parking $5.00 per parking space. (over flow lot will be located in a secondary lot on Yawgoo Valley Road) On site parking in the Main lot of Yawgoo Valley Ski and Sport is located at 160 Yawgoo Valley Road, Exeter Ri and is $10.00 per parking space.

BoldrDash Kids is returning to Yawgoo Valley in September 2014! Where it all began. In 2013 our first BoldrDash Kids debuted at Yawgoo Valley along side the two Day BoldrDash in the Mud event. Kids from all over New England ran, climbed, jumped and crawled their way to the finish line.
This year we will bring back many of the original obstacles, added a few new ones for for all to enjoy and we have lengthened the course. You’re child will not want to miss out on this year’s KIDS BoldrDash in the Mud!
FAMILY WAVES: ALL AGES! Play in the mud together. In BoldrDash Family Waves parents/guardians and kids all run the 1+ mile kids course and tackle the obstacles together. Are you Boldr than your 5th grader? Run as a family, challenge each other for time, it is up to you (as always with safety in mind). See registration page for details.
