2021 COVID Precautions

  • Our COVID Plan includes checking in participants while they remain inside their vehicle. All Event Swag will be given at

    this time to reduce foot traffic to and from the parking area and congestion at the finish line

     

  • 3 Mile (5K) Course Runners and 5 Mile Runners have the same Start and Finish lines.  Colored and labled signage along

    the course will indicate the additional milage for our 5 Mile Runners.

     

  • Bib Colors will match the course you are running and will help our volunteers identify runners appropriately and help you keep on your chosen course trails.

     

  • Once you have checked in and parked you are welcome to go directly to the Start line and head out on the course

     

  • PLEASE plan your own hydration!  We will not have hydration areas on the course or Finish Area.

     

  • Registration check in will be done in your vehicle – Upon arrival a volunteer will meet you at the gate to accept payment
    for parking and direct you to the “Registration Lanes” for check in and parking.  Pull into the open lane and take
    advantage of the warmth of your car while you check in. (We were able test this out at DoggieDash last year and have worked out the kinks to make

  • it a smooth and complete process).  When you park your car – you are ready to go to the start line and start your run!

     

  • Mask Policy – all runners must wear a face covering (covering your nose and mouth) during check in, in all common areas and parking area.  On the course face coverings should be on you for quick positioning over your nose and mouth (not in your pocket, around your wrist or in your hydration pack) should you be in a situation where 6 feet distance from another participant or a volunteer can not be achieved.

     

  • There is no waiting at the start line.  When you get there, you run.  Just check in with the start-line volunteer and they will clear you to go.

     

  • Finish Line/Festival area.  We will not have any venders/sponsor tables in site at WinterDash.  Medals will be in your
    runner bag that you receive upon arrival

     

  • Hand Sanitizer will be available along the course at each obstacle.  Obstacle volunteers will have access to ample supply as well.  (touchless sanitizer available at Registration)

     

  • Again – Be Prepared – Bring Your own hydration – there will be no water stops along the course and no fruit/hydration at the finsh line
